Thanks everybody for your opinions – my brother had a pirate themed wedding on Thursday and it was awesome beyond belief. =)

Victorian Era sounds awesome. All the others, not so much.

under the sea would be pretty if you don’t go overboard. sugar plum princess might be pretty too.

They are defiantly different, so if you want yours to stand out go for it. I personally like Sugar Plum Princess and Victorian Era, because they are different, but not completely out there.

Victorian Era sounds great! Under the Sea could be amazing, depending on how it’d be planned and the color schemes and stuff
Hmm, they are alright.
My favourite of those is “Under the Sea” and “Victorian Era” but the vicotrian era one would be kind of hard..

victorian style, not era is nice, every thing else sounds like a b-day party for a child, not a wedding
Personally, I love them all! Lol!
But my favorite would have to be between Pirate and Goth!
They sound like themes for school dances, not really wedding appropriate. I’m not fond of any of them.
a pirate theme would be awesome if it was a theme like pirates of the carribbean rather than say, long john silver’s
and no goth. that’s yucky.
im actually doing a goth/pirate/rockandroll/victorian themed wedding cause thats totally me and my fiances style
the other two just seem more like prom themes than wedding themes. in fact my senior year homecomings theme was under the sea
pirate & goth… more like halloween…
i love the Victorian era… 2nd choice is under the sea
but not pirate, goth, or Sugar plum

Is there any you are leaning toward more. a wedding is personal and your decision matters more then anything. The groom probably doesnt even have that much say, haha and whatever people hear say is there personal preference

Whatever makes you happy, just think of the body types of your wedding party…Goth is so dark.
I think Under the Sea or Sugar Plum Princess
I like the Victorian era. It sounds classy and sweet.
As for the pirate, it’s waaay overrated in my opinion.
The Sugar Plum Princess sounds like a 5 year old’s birthday party.
Under the Sea sounds nice.. but only if you don’t take it too far. Which is a pretty fine line…
And I just hate the goth idea.
Pirate, Under the Sea, and Sugar Plum Princess sound more like kids birthday themes to me.
Victorian Era is the best choice in my opinion.
And GOTH for a wedding. A wedding is supposed to be a happy wonderful day, and goth is so dark and gloomy.

what a bout romance as the theme or love
it sounds as though you are planning a child’s birthday party instead of a wedding. sorry but other than victorian era they all sound extremely childish and immature. besides i don’t think weddings need themes – its a somewhat foolish trend.
under the sea. you could do a great reception with that theme
Not really into the Under The Sea theme but the rest would be cool.
Go with whichever suits you and your fiance best since it doesn’t really matter what anyone else thinks.

Pirate – No. The dresses in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies gave me orgasms. I don’t know about the pirates though.
Sugar Plum Princess – Maybe. At first I thought of Barbie in her big puffy dresses but then I started thinking of fairies. A flower garden or woodsy area, you could flower girls wearing fairy wings.
Victorian Era- Love this one.
Under the Sea – All I can think is The Little Mermaid. But maybe you could do a beachy thing and decorate with sea shells. Your colors could be sea green and whatever. Wear a Mermaid style gown.
Goth – Ehh…maybe. Dark rich colors dark red and burgundy flowers, lots of candles. A little less Marilyn Manson but a little more say Phantom of the Opera. Marilyn Manson’s wedding to die for, but tone I’d tone it down a little. Goth doesn’t have to be creepy. It can be dark, romantic and sexy.
