Does anyone know of any good outside wedding locations in/around Carroll County, Maryland?

My fiancee and I have set our wedding date for September 13, 2008 and really need to start planning. We have tossed a thousand ideas but would like to get some feedback on outside wedding location sites in or around Carroll County, MD. Just for the ceremony…we have an idea of what we want for the reception site. Any feeback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It will be difficult to find a place just to have the ceremony. Most people will have the wedding at the reception site if they aren’t having the ceremony in a church. There just aren’t many places and especially not many pretty places to go. Good Luck.

I did some research for you and I found that there are many beautiful locations in Carroll, Maryland. I found a site that gives locations, pictures, and ideas. Search it!

we had a outdoor wedding in a civil war park
was once a battle field with a beautiful brok and flowers and rocky cliffs an tons of trees.

the setting was so wonderfully gourgous.

then my hubby and i rode in a horse and buggie up the road and the reception was int he Conels house during the civil war.

the wedding wasn’t based on the civil war but our town was the main battle ground and is very bueatiful preserved that way.

Picking a place that fits you is all that matters.

If you do an internet search for “carroll county” and “weddings” you should be able to come up with some venues.

Carroll County Farm Museum is one I saw on a search

Are you looking to have a religious ceremony? Are you a member of a certain denomination? I bet there are some lovely little churches.
