Destination Wedding – do I have to pay for wedding party accommodations?
We’re having a destination wedding (florida) and the wedding party will need to travel and spend at least 2 nights (rehearsal & wedding) Do we have to pay for their hotel accommodations?

I did pay lodging of one BM that was having financial difficulties, but its def. not required. One must consider the financial state of the WP, friends and family before expecting people to travel to an exotic destination.
Good luck
This falls into the category of nice gesture, but it’s not required. When people agree to be in the wedding party for a destination wedding, they should assume they’ll pay for this just as they pay for their dresses.
It is not required, but it is a lot to ask of your bridal party. I am only assuming that you informed them of the destination and the requirements (2 nights in a hotel) prior to asking them to be in the wedding. If they agreed (knowing the cost of travel and hotel), then they are doing so because they want to. If they were asked to be in the wedding and are now only finding out about the destination and the hotel nights, then you need to talk to them to see if they can financially afford to still be in your wedding.
